Hi!  I’m Dr. Allison O’Neill and I can’t wait to meet you and your pets!  I have been a veterinarian for 12 years now – obtaining my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University in 2013.  I also have a Master of Science in Veterinary Preventive Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science, both from Iowa State University as well.

I have worked in many areas of veterinary medicine – research, private practice, corporate practice, emergency medicine and relief work- and I have found that throughout the years, my true passion is helping to nurture the bond between people and their pets.  My goal is to provide the best quality medicine for every single patient that walks through my door and make every family that visits my clinic feel as though they are receiving the care and attention they deserve.  I strive to treat all my patients like family. 

My professional interests include surgery, preventive medicine, nutrition, and caring for pets as they come into their senior years.  I plan to offer options for house calls – not only for wellness, but for palliative care and even end of life.  It’s so important that every family be treated with the kindness and respect that they deserve, and if that means that I come to you, I’m happy to do it!

I’m so excited to be serving East Troy and the surrounding areas!  I currently live in Elkhorn with my husband, Tom, and our 6 children.  We also have 2 dogs, a senior mixed breed, Emmitt, and a 3 year old Doberman, Winnifred Sanderson (Winnie).  In my spare time, I enjoy being on the lake, cooking/baking, and playing golf.  I hope that you’ll consider joining our family and allow me to care for you and your pets!
